Because '''Ordino''' has a northeast / northwest location the quality and quantity of snow is good.
A little like Arinsal, Ordino has year round residents and is not purely a ski resort like Soldeu and Pas de la Casa, so if you are going skiing for the first time this could be a good place to choose as there are alternatives to skiing closeby in case you decide you don_ft like skiing or snowboarding.
Ordino has a very good sports centre for example.
Ordino also has good transport connections to the capital Andorra La Vella, with the department stores and duty free shopping.
Ordino and Arinsal both have good child care facilities.
Ordino is good for novice, intermediate and advanced skiers, who might be interested in the over 10km of cross-country trails.
