Anerdam(Wildlife Santury): Anerdam[Wildlife Santury]is situated on southwestern range of Satpura range in Shirpur Tehsil of Dhule District.It shares boundaries with Yawal sanctuary other sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh.The sanctuary was once very rich in wildlife, now it is trying to regain its previous status.Best time to visit the sanctuary is November to February. Common animals & birds found in this area are: Animals:Barking Deer's,Chikaras, Hares, Porcupines and Jungle Cats.Monitor Lizard is the common reptile in this sanctuary. Migrant Animals:Hyenas, jackals, wolves and wild boars are the migrant animals. Birds:Peafs, qualis, partridges, egrets, herons, cormorants, corts, spot bills, and owls are the birds inhabiting this place Migrant Birds:Brahminy Ducks, cranes, stokes and waders are the migratory birds found in the sanctuary. Getting there: By Rail : Nearest railway station is Nardona,40-km on Western Railway and Chailsgaon, at 125-km on Mumbai- Bhusawal route. By Air : Nearest airport is at Aurangabad, which is 215-km from the sanctuary. Prakashe: Prakashe,a village in Shahade tehsil, situated on the bank of Tapi river has been known as center of pilgrimage since 17th century.Recent excavations by the Archaeological survey of India at this place have disclosed details of the Chalcolithic Period of the History of Maharashtra.Temples of Prakashe are well built and are considered sacred.The most important is the Kedareshwar temple which has double_eGabhara_fthe first one holding a linga of Kedareshwar Mahadeo and the second one that of Kashi Vishweshwar.It is commonly believed that after making the pilgrimage of all the tirthakshetra of India.If this place is not visited,the pilgrimage remains incomplete.The next important temple known as GautameshwarMahadeo temple is built by Rani Ahilyabai Holkar situated on the banks of river Gomai.Other famous temple is Sangameshwar Mahadeo temple built in Muslim style and look as if it were a converted mosque.To the west of the village is temple of goddess Mansapuri with a 13.71meters long and width 5.49 meters mandap supported on 16 pillars all bearing some remarkable carving . The Kashi Vishweshwar temolebuilt by one Dwrkadas is the most neatly and cleanly maintained temple in Prakashe .Its door frame is beautifully decorated by lovely patterns and designs.
Sarangkheda: Sarangkheda in Shahade tehsil is known for lovely shrine of single faced Dattatreya situated on rising ground with its tall Shikhar overlooking the village, thus attracting the tourists .The idol of Datta is believed to have been brought from Mahur in Nanded district and is held in deep reverence.There is a fair held in honour of the deity on Margahsirsha Paurnima ,when over a lakh of people are attracted to this place.
Laling Fort: This fort is 6 miles away in south, from Dhule city. Laling is an ancient place and the fort was built up 14th century in the regime of first Faruki king, but the fort is in broken condition in these days. Also, there are two temples of 'Hemadpanthi' styles and are also in very much frayed condition.
