By car
The N2 is the main route along the coast. While most of this road is in excellent condition, there are some significant roadworks in progress between Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay with traffic from the N2 being diverted onto the older R102 between the Van Stadens and Gamtoos rivers. If traveling on a tight schedule, plan at least 30 minutes extra for this section.
