The first step is to get to a major city in Tuscany, for instance Florence, Pisa or Lucca. From these cities it is easy to continue to Versilia by train, bus or car.
Go to the beach.
On the coast, seafood is obviously the greatest treat. As you go further inlands there will be less fish and more chestnuts. The high-quality local olive oil is an important ingredient in Versilian cuisine.
Tuscany is world-famous for its wines, the ones from Chianti being the most notable. Versilia however has no important local wines.
