Arkaroola is located 130 km east of Leigh Creek/Copley, or 300 km north of Yunta - in all, 600 km north of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. Although the 130 km from Copley and 300 km from Yunta are on unsealed roads, no problems should be encountered provided the normal care and attention is taken.
