Get around

  • There is an unsealed ''railtrail'' from Gin Gin the nearby pub town of Tirroan, following an old railway alignment. You can walk, cycle or horseride on the trail. The remnants of the station are at the Gin Gin end of the path. There is nothing but a sign at the Tirroan end.
  • You can walk around the town easily.
  • See

There are no real tourist attractions in the town central. There are some gardens in the town central that would be nice enough for a picnic.

The '''Boolboonda Tunnel''' in a little way out of town towards Mount Perry (off the highway). It is the longest unsupported tunnel in the Southern Hemisphere, at around 200 metres long. The tunnel was dug for the railway, but now a road goes through the tunnel, and you can drive through.
