The Jewish Quarter and St Procopius' Basilica is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Jewish Quater is one of the best preserved Jewish areas in Europe and illustrates the interconnected lives of Jewish and Christian societies up until the Holocaust. This well preserved area has as such been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Main Synagogue is the key highlight of the area and has been well restored.
There are some interesting Jewish Graveyards in and around the area
