You can bike, walk, or drive around here (no major public transportation providided).
There aren't many man-made things to see in Shingletown.
Shingletown is mostly a stopover in the way of tourists, but it does serve as the crossing-point between the Shasta Cascades and Northeastern California. Many side trips can be based here, especially those to Lassen Volcanic Nat.'l Park.
There are no major shopping areas in Shingletown.
