The 100+ year old amusement park is still there, and offers an inexpensive alternative to places like Seaside or Wildwood. Many renovations have been made to the park since the storm that wiped it out in years past, but there is still a lot of history in the park, including the "Spook House" which is one of the oldest amusement rides still running in the United States, possibly the world.

Walking around away from the boardwalk area is not advised. Away from the boardwalk, some of the old bungalows and hotels have become the haunts of criminals, such as drug dealers. If you're not careful, you may get shot at.
