'''Curtea de Arges''' is a city in Muntenia. It existed since the Dacian times, and ruines are still left to be seen. It was the site of the court of Basarab I, a very important ruler in Muntenia. It is also the place of the Monastery Curtea de Arges, built by Neagoe Basarab, another main leader, in the 16th century.
