Although Levin is famous for being a boring town, there is still some entertainment to be had. One of the main attractions is a large adventure playground on the main street next to the information centre. There are also public swimming baths with a water slide which are fairly modern and reasonably priced. There is also a movie theatre which has a reasonable line up of films.

There is nowhere to buy decent coffee unless you have it with enough milk that you don't care how good the coffee is.
