'''Happy Adventure''' is one of seven communities on the Eastport Peninsula. The Eastport Area has been popular with Newfoundland's holiday-makers for years. The peninsula is located on the north-western border of Terra Nova National Park and is famed for its sandy beaches, beautiful scenery and traditional Newfoundland outport heritage.

Understand

Named for the infamous pirate ''Peter Easton'', the name "Happy Adventure" supposedly resulted from a successful outing of seeking and receiving shelter in the community_fs harbour.

This quiet community was first settled in 1868 and is divided into three coves - Upper, Middle and Lower. It boasts a craft store and tea room where one might purchase some unique souvenirs. There is also a nice picnic area and beach where, if the tide is low, you can dig for clams (known locally as "cocks and hens"). Happy Adventure also has great vantage points for whale watching or just admire the surrounding scenery.
