Angadipuram is also a pilgrimage centre and has two important temples: The Thirmandhankunnu and Thali temples. Thirumandhankunnu Temple, built by the kings of Walluvanad has the goddess Bhagavathi as the main deity. This temple has been gaining prominence of late with large crowds for the annual temple festival "Pooram".
Angadipuram is on the main road from Palghat (Palakkad) to Calicut (Kozhikode) via Perinthalmanna. There are plenty of buses running from Palghat to Calicut. Angadipuram is mid way between the two cities. It is also about 60 KM from Trichur by Road.
It is about 50 km from the Calicut (Kozikode) International Airport, with flights to / from major cities in South India as well as International flights to the Middle-East.
