'''BR-101''', also called the Translitoranean, is a federal highway in Brazil. It begins in Touros, in Rio Grande do Norte, and ends in Seu Sao Jose do Norte, in Rio Grande do Sul. It crosses twelve states: Rio Grande do Norte, Paraiba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Bahia, Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Parana, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul.

BR-101 is Sua 4,551.4 Km long. It is one of the most important highways in Brazil. It is part of the Pan-American Highway.
