There are 2 one-way routes to the destinations. One usually at 12:00 and the other at 14:30 approx which is usually crowded by students returning back to their villages.
You need to check departures at the local bus station (the only one) in Myrina, located in the second square (after taxi sq.) in the middle of the city. It takes about 10mins to reach it, on foot, from the port near the customs to get there. It takes about half an hour from the port (always under construction) of st.Nicholas area (St. Nicholas is the chapel you see from ferry situated on a hill looking down the port).
In the morning there are 2 times you can get on the bus from villages to go to Myrina. Summer period only at 8AM and 10PM. Times usually vary from village to village due to the distance needs to be covered to reach Myrina. The capital city of the Island.
In other seasons except summer, there is only on route in the morning to Myrina.
Sunsets are magnificent under excellent visibility weather conditions, as these islands and Mt. Athos, are visible almost from every peak or elevated viewpoint on the island, due to the fact there are no high mountains on Lemnos.
