By train
There is about 4-5 daily departures to Goteborg by Vasttrafik[http://www.vasttrafik.se]. In the summer the Swedish Railways (SJ) runs a X2000 express train to Stockholm twice a day.
By ferry
There are serveral ferry's every day across the outflow of the Oslo fjord to Sandefjord in Norway with a Color line ferry[http://www.colorline.se]. The previous connection to Langesund was discontinued in December 2008.
